Be the Underdog
I like to consider myself the underdog. Why? because it pushes me to grow, evolve, and test my limits. Even when others see you as the topdog you have to still remain the underdog mentally. Being the topdog is great, but when you’re the topdog you begin to plateau, it’s the person that still see themselves as the underdog that always looks for ways to improve. The underdog is a fighter and works towards success. No excuses, the underdog makes things happen with the little things they have.
Think about the classic underdog movie “Rocky,” Rocky didn’t stop fighting, he was fearless, and he had nothing to lose but everything to gain. Once he reached the top he began to plateau and suffered some loses. He then went back to his roots and positioned himself as the underdog, trained and trained with a purpose.
It’s all about remembering what made you the person you are today. Leave behind a legacy that you can share from time to time. Always positioned yourself to grow, if you feel like you left your mark on the world, go out on top. If you’re not done and reached what you think is success, look for avenues that will make you the underdog once again.
